Stringent inspections and assessments of the premises and medical procedures are completed by CPSO to validate that our patients are provided the highest standard of care. Certified technicians utilize our on-site Medical Device Reprocessing Facility to sterilize all devices and instruments. In the past four years of operation, we have completed thousands of procedures, without a single surgical site infection or major complication.

ASO’s internal Quality Assurance Committee inspects/approves our standards, monitors activity and continually helps improve performance, ensuring the care provided satisfies provincial and patient requirements, given the volume and scope provided.

Advanced Surgical Operatory in London is Ontario’s first functional Ambulatory Surgi-Centre, ready to be used for the benefit of Ontario and Canada’s patients requiring publicly insured scheduled surgery. We are ready and available to provide innovative, inexpensive, and efficient delivery of care for specific procedures, while working within the publicly funded system.

Our surgical day care facility is comprised of a highly skilled team of medical professionals and team members. Our specialized medical care environment has state-of-the-art equipment and the highest standard of care. This provides individuals with an exceptional experience in their surgical journey.  Our 2 two operating rooms, pre and post-operative care area, and reception are designed for same-day procedures. 
Our Surgical day clinic is designed specifically for outpatient procedures and provides a more streamlined, efficient, private patient experience with a focus on health teaching. Our comfortable environment, specialized staff, shorter recovery period, state-of-the-art equipment, and a dedicated small group of staff have a passion for providing a safe and optimal care experience. At our day clinic, we offer a range of surgical procedures not covered by OHIP, including but not limited to :
  • Plastic surgeries (Mastopexy, Breast Augmentation, Abdominoplasty, Liposuction, Blepharoplasty, Rhytidectomy)
  • ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeries. Snoring procedures, Rhinoplasties.
  • Urology (Rezum prostate procedures, cosmetic circumcisions)
  • Infertility (reversal of vasectomy
Before your surgery, one of our nurses will call you to review your medical history and provide instructions on how to prepare. They will review your medication profile and inform you on what to take or omit on the day of surgery. This will include guidelines on fasting before the procedure, restrictions on medications, prescriptions and post-op instructions.
On the day of your surgery, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will guide you through the check-in process. You will meet with your surgeon, PACU nursing staff, and anesthesiologist who will answer any last-minute questions and address your concerns. After your surgery, you will be monitored in our recovery area until you are ready to be discharged. Our medical team will manage post-op pain, nausea, dressings, and hydration and help prepare your family or friends to take care of you at home. The staff will ensure you have supplies, prescriptions, and follow-up appointments.
Our team is made up of highly motivated, caring, and qualified experts. All of our surgeons and anesthesiologists are CPSO-certified practitioners. As well, our dedicated nursing team, are devoted to providing excellent care and ensuring your safety throughout your surgical experience. Our other staff members: Operating Room Aides, Medical Device Processing team, and Receptionist all help to make your patient experience comfortable and seamless.
