A Canadian Certifed Pedorthist is a foot care expert trained in the assessment, design, manufacture, and ft of custom orthoses. We, as Pedorthists, are also specially trained in the proper fit of footwear and can custom modify footwear as necessary. Together, these services assist in managing pain and discomfort in the back, lower limbs, and feet.
Canadian Certifed Pedorthists work alongside other healthcare professionals to help maintain proper alignment and biomechanics, reduce pain, and increase mobility. All patients will need a diagnosis from a prescribing clinician.
Linda is Co-Owner of Foot Dynamics which originated in 1996. Linda has a Science background and trained in Pedorthics years before the development of the profession. She has been fortunate enough to watch the profession unfold with the development of the College of Pedorthics of Canada in 2000. She studied hard with continuing education which enabled her to write her Pedorthic exams and receive her diploma in Pedorthics in 2002.
Linda enjoys teaching Pedorthic students and attending Conferences. She fnds it very rewarding to be able to help her clients feel better which allows them to continue the activities they enjoy! In her spare time, Linda enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and three dogs.
Tony is Co-Owner of Foot Dynamics. He became interested in Pedorthics because of his own history with multiple knee surgeries. He is also very involved in squash and hockey, and custom orthotics along with good footwear has had a very positive impact on his mobility. He received his Diploma in Pedorthics in 2004. He also has spent time as a member of the accreditation committee for the Pedorthic Association of Canada. He has worked with Pedorthic students and has continued to learn while attending various seminars and conferences.
He loves to be able to see his clients enjoy a healthy active lifestyle. In his spare time, he is very active in sports, and enjoys the outdoors with his family.
Kerrie graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2010 with a degree in Kinesiology and later from Western University in 2012 with a diploma in Pedorthics. She loves the dynamics of a Canadian Certifed Pedorthist and the challenges that present themselves in many different populations, being athletes, children, and adults in the workforce.
Kerrie is an active member within the Pedorthic community hosting Pedorthic students and attending conferences. In her spare time, she coaches competitive swimming and spends time with her husband and two young children
Robin received her training in Vancouver as a registered practical nurse and a certifed foot care nurse with over 20 years experience.
She continues to keep up with the everchanging advances in foot care through seminars and conferences. She is very passionate about her work, and with her thorough assessment, and conscientious work ethic, her clients receive the ultimate care.
