Advanced Surgical Operatory was opened in 2017 as Ontario’s first stand-alone utilitarian surgical suites. We were fully accredited as a top-tier Level 3 facility by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Since then, we have performed over 2000 procedures for a variety of patient needs including Otolaryngology (ENT), Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, and others.
Our surgical suites provide the ideal atmosphere for those who want to have more options with their health care decisions for surgical procedures, or who wish to have surgery performed out of a hospital. Our day-patients do not require the resources of a hospital facility for their procedure.
The mission of Advanced Surgical Operatory is to ensure our patients receive the best quality surgical care
in the shortest possible timeframe.
Stringent inspections and assessments of the premises and medical procedures are completed by CPSO to validate that our patients are provided the highest standard of care. Certified technicians utilize our on-site Medical Device Reprocessing Facility to sterilize all devices and instruments. In the past four years of operation, we have completed thousands of procedures, without a single surgical site infection or major complication.
ASO’s internal Quality Assurance Committee inspects/approves our standards, monitors activity and continually helps improve performance, ensuring the care provided satisfies provincial and patient requirements, given the volume and scope provided.
Advanced Surgical Operatory in London is Ontario’s first functional Ambulatory Surgi-Centre, ready to be used for the benefit of Ontario and Canada’s patients requiring publicly insured scheduled surgery. We are ready and available to provide innovative, inexpensive, and efficient delivery of care for specific procedures, while working within the publicly funded system.
Surgical procedures continue to advance, but unfortunately, many new technologies that may offer enhanced patient results are not covered by OHIP. Advanced Surgical Operatory makes the latest technology and procedures available to our patients.
Your skilled surgeon will address any concerns or questions to provide the best solutions for meeting your needs. They can even suggest ways for you to be as healthy as possible – helping you maximize results and minimize recovery-time post-surgery.
ADVANCED SURGICAL OPERATORY is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Our surgical suites provide the ideal atmosphere for those who want to have more options with their health care decisions and our surgeons are recognized as some of the finest in Canada.
