New centre, new technology
As part of our mission to provide the region with the very best medical facilities, the Advanced Vision Centre offers both state of the art technology and expert care from our highly skilled opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists. Expert eye exams
Regular eye examinations are important to detect any eye health issues early. As well as assessing your vision, we use retina imagery and scanning technology to record any changes in the structure and health of your eyes.
The latest eyewear and lenses
According to a 2016 survey, more Canadians are wearing glasses than five years ago. 55% of Canadians wear eyeglasses as their primary means of vision correction, a rise from 51% in 2011.
Our Advanced Vision Centre stocks an extensive selection of stylish frames to suit all ages. We also offer the latest lens types, including:
- Ultra-thin lightweight lenses
- Transition lenses
- Progressive lenses
- Low-vision aides
We can also assess you for the right type of contact lens, including single vision lenses, multifocal lenses and toric lenses.
Cataract surgery with ORA technology
The Advanced Vision Centre is the only private surgical centre in London to offer ORA technology for cataract surgery and lens replacement. Using the ORA™ System with VerifEye+™ technology, our surgical team can remove your cataract-clouded lenses and replace them with vision-correcting intraocular lenses. So you can see clearly again and not need to use your glasses.
